How the knowledge checks work
- Five topics, 50 questions in all. Each topic takes about five minutes.
- Answers are explained straight away, with the PCC-1-2026 clause and a link to the matching Patriot Bolt guide.
- Answer choices are shuffled each time, so you can retake a topic. The mixed review draws 15 questions from every topic.
- At the end you can retry the questions you missed or print a results summary for your own records.
What these tools are, and what they are not
They are free self-study training tools for engineers, planners, inspectors and craft personnel who want to check their understanding of the guidance in ASME PCC-1-2026. They are not a course, and a result here is not a qualification. PCC-1 Appendix A describes how bolting personnel are qualified, and the owner sets the skill level needed for each job (Sec. 2–3, App A). Always follow your site procedures and the current edition of the standard.
